💡Educational resources for teaching Integrated Planning Approaches in COIL format. Exciting Developments in the InPLanEd Erasmus+ project!

Exciting news for educators and planners! 🌍

Our latest deliverable reveals a wealth of didactic material and open educational resources for teaching Integrated Planning approaches in COIL format. The COIL course is designed to empower learners with the necessary tools, skills and knowledge to foster a transition towards green, just, inclusive, and people-centric cities to combat climate change.

More importantly, the course grants access to online learning resources such as lectures (presentations, videos), teaching guides, glossary, datasets, tutorials, exercises, real-life case studies, and more, all designed to enrich and support planning education. The planned pilot COIL course is structured around key themes like inclusive, people-centric and climate resilient cities. Tailored to bridge the prevailing gaps in the current educational offer of Spatial Planning Programmes, as well as addressing the competence profiles and skills required in the spatial planning market, these educational resources emphasize integrated urban planning methods such as evidence-based and participatory planning approaches.

From grasping sustainable city concepts to hands-on application of integrated urban planning methods (via site visits and workshops), this course empowers and equips learners with the practical skills needed to tackle future challenges in the planning market.
